Alex gained a Bachelor's degree in Physiology and Biology at the University of Manchester, before going on to become an expert in digital transformation within the payments sector in the City of London. Since starting his career as a management consultant, Alex spent the bulk of his early career working at Worldpay, before recently moving to a high growth company in the virtual card b2b payments space.
Throughout his career Alex has been integral to a variety of innovative projects, which have been born out of some of the largest fintech mergers and acquisitions in the world.
Alex advises the Group Board on Payment Gateway API integration programmes, application of innovative fintech services and products to increase ROI from BAU processes, PCI compliance, maximising e-commerce click through conversion rates, and on strategies to build online consumer confidence.
