From the Silva Daskalaki biodynamic vineyards comes a truly beautiful wine for any wine drinker. Easy to drink straight from opening, chilled as an aperitif or with heavier main meals if served at room temperature.
Made from Sauvignon Blanc and Plyto, this wine pairs nicely with other European equivalents and is recognisable for newcomers to Greek wine. The small percentage of indigenous Plyto grape - extremely rare in Crete and a difficult be rewarding grape to work with - creates a more balanced and interesting wine than your traditional Sauvignon.
The Plyto grape adds notes of citrus freshness to the wine, giving notes of ripe apricot, pink grapefruit and the faintest hint of lime peel. The wine has a rich and floral bouquet of white jasmine and slight honey aroma.
On the pallet, the wine is light and soft with gentle flavours of honey, vanilla, grapefruit and peaches.
